Dima, Egypt's #1 International Star Belly Dancer
Dina, Egypt?s #1 international star belly dancer, and one of the most prestigious names in the entire Oriental dance world, will be coming to the U.S. on November 17, 2001. Highly renowned throughout the Middle East, North Africa, the Arabian Gulf, and Europe for her refined technique, and classic, sensual interpretation of Eastern Dance, Dina?s presence on the scene has truly revolutionized the art over the years.

The luminary?s multi-talented nature, sculpted from the early age of nine, extends into film and theatre, making her one of the top film stars in Egypt today. A notable Raks Sharki historian, with a Master?s Degree, as well as an impressive traveling repertoire, Dina provides a well-rounded, dimensional knowledge of the Egyptian entertainment arts.

Having dedicated a large portion of her time to providing educational and performance opportunities to dance aficionados throughout the world, Dina will now grace us with her presence this fall in a series of workshops that will properly translate the essence and technique of Egyptian Dance that has been the key to her success.

Somebody finally mentioned belly dance, or oriental dance, which is hot here on the American West coast. Very popular. use some of the Chrisanne style fancy fabric and trim type stuff. but it winds up fancy pants, that are still contraversial in ballroom dance.

Love to know where the egyptian dance specialist is coming. Anywhere out here in the Seattle Area, north west or american west coast? marydyer@coinet.com null
