LIVE, LAUGH, LEARN ... DANCE!
--------------------------------------------------------
Congratulations to Mike who pulled off a surprise for the love of his life, Johna. For the past few years, Johna had been hinting that she would like to learn Ballroom Dancing. In fact, each Valentine's, she would laugh and tease Mike by asking whether he had arranged for their private dance lesson. But this year, Mike had the last laugh!

Johna is a hair stylist at Flow Hair Studio in downtown Burlington. After work, Mike indicated that he was taking her out for dinner, but took a surprise "detour". When she arrived at danceScape, Johna was in a state of shock when she was greeted by Beverley Cayton-Tang and Robert Tang, who are former 3-time Canadian and 2-time North American Amateur Standard Ballroom Champions. During the next hour, Mike whisked her off her feet by learning and leading her to do the Merengue, Cha Cha, and Swing. See some of their photos on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/danceScape.

If you're celebrating a Birthday, Anniversary, Engagement, or Wedding and want to plan a surprise private dance lesson at danceScape, E-mail events@dancescape.com or call (905) 633-8808. You can also book online at http://lessons.dancescape.com (click on "Private Lessons" or "Online Store - Packages" tabs). For more information about Flow Hair Studio, please call 905 631-7689 and ask for Johna McColl.

HELP UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN LEARN TO DANCE
--------------------------------------------------------
A number of primary and secondary schools from low income underprivileged communities have contacted danceScape to bring our dance and fitness programs to their classes. With so many cuts in the public school system, more and more children in these communities are unable to experience the partner etiquette skills and fitness levels from arts and dance-based programs. If you may be interested in donating or sponsoring a student, class or school, please contact Robert Tang at 905 633-8808 or schoolprograms@dancescape.com. Donations can range from a few dollars for a sponsored child, to a few hundred dollars for a sponsored class.
