Hi Laura,

In general, fabrics will be shipped direct from the UK office -- our system is integrated directly in the fabrics area. [This will bypass any potential double charges for customs between UK to Canada and then to the US.] Orders are sent trackable and from the UK would generally be DHL. We do have some more popular fabrics on hand direct from Canada, so please feel free at any time to check for availability.

Hey Dancescape,

One of the other dance supply sites has recently initiated a program where you can order individual small samples for a small fee (approximately .50 US) at zero or minimal shipping cost. Is there any way you can use your pull with Chrisanne to get them to initiate a similar program? The Chrisanne Club sounds like a great idea if one is in the business of making dance or other costumes, but for the person who makes his or her own costumes, the cost is prohibitive. On the other hand, ordering several yards of $20 per yard fabric without first seeing a sample is also not optimal. I'd like to be able to use Chrisanne fabrics in my costumes, and the small sample order at nominal charge seems like a great option if it could be arranged.

In terms of the CHRISANNE Club , please note that the price for annual membership is approx. US $75/year, which works out to almost the cost of 1 private lesson

. CHRISANNE specializes in quality designer fabrics so you can be assured that they are the latest in fashion -- these are typically worn and showcased on the dresses by CHRISANNE Sponsored champions and dance stars (Click here for list of official sponsored couples).

The CHRISANNE Club comes in a binder and you receive all the fabric sample cards, stone cards, colour chart, etc. The Collections Fabrics will be updated 3 times a year so as a member you would receive. As a club member, you also have the option to select up to 5 feeler samples.

Some of our customers have gotten their friends together where they chipped in to buy a club to be shared among their group. The other alternative is that some of our customers have designers they work with so they have asked their designer to join and they borrow from them. Sample images are now available in the Fabrics section at www.dancescape.com/chrisanne/fabrics
