  You're probably right - however there is always the chance that it's in say the french equivelent of pig-latin.  I was once taught something like this for disguising russian - forget the transformation they used, but it was a fairly simple one, and I have some vague recollection about hearing about a similar trick in german.  As a result, I wouldn't be suprised if nearly every langauge has something like this... |
