Andrew Sinkinson did a beautiful "interpretive foxtrot" demonstration when he was with Charlotte Jorgensen to this piece of music. The original is quite slow with many changes in tempi, but there have been other versions that were specifically done for Seque which might be closer to strict tempo. For more eclectic type music, here are some other artists to check out: Yanni: Click here to listen to some of his recent discography .... For Foxtrot, you could probably do something interesting and "interpretive" with "Rainmaker" with its exotic syncopated rhythms and lots of swivel type actions and advanced picture lines. Throw in some "Samba" and Belly Dancing type moves as well. Sarah Brightman (Harem) You might want to search for more eclectic "new age jazz" CD categories to see if any are appropriate. |
