Hey I am an amateur ballroom/latin dancer competing in the UK, and I'm wanting to take a year out before I go to university, that is if I decide to go!

I'm really interested in competing in America and I'm just wondering which state has a strong ballroom and latin scene? probably a difficult one to answer, sorry!

Over Christmas, I helped organise the world line dance championships in Nashville, and fell in love with west coast swing and I'm now desperate to learn it!

I have no idea about where to start looking for a suitable dance studio where I can compete, carry on with my teaching and if I'm lucky find a new partner!

Any sort of advice would be much appreciated!
