HI! Im new to the dancescape forum.. Ive been creating my own costumes for a few years but I want a lighter look for my new design.
When I see the latin costumes on tv, they look like strong transparent netting with rhinestones all over them... how do they get this look? where can i find such netting and are the rhinestones glued, and if so with what?
I dont think the rhinestones are held in place with a clasp because it would easily snag the sheer fabric.
If anybody has any advice or links please reply!

Hi Jordan, Please check out one of our affiliate companies, CHRISANNE ... www.chrisanne.comIf you look in the "Fabrics" section (Basics, Essentials and Collections), you'll see the range of materials that dancers typically use. The stones are generally Swarovski Crystal Rhinestones and these would be the flatback crystals which are glued on. SS20s are the most common size that are applied. For larger stone decorations, these are generally "sew-on".

Thank you! Do you know what type of glue is used for the rhinestones?
