A thought, and not a pretty one unfortunately. All the dancers actually involved in this split and new partnership situation have been honest, forthright, and gracious, even in the face of obsessive speculation, personal prying, and disgusting rudeness by some of the rest of us. Despite their youth they are to be congratulated on a wisdom and maturity a few of us --- albeit perhaps of greater age, if not the previously stated theoretically requisite factors --- appear to lack. Further, the crudely worded, offensively phrased postings denigrate those of us who prefer not to register, but are willing to honestly sign those posts we do make.
Anna- I just got the USABDA magazine with your picture in it and you look GREAT!!!!! The pics are awesome, of everyone! Don't listen to what other people are saying here, they're just jeallous of your abilities. GOOD LUCK! XOXO Sara
I actually attended the competition in NJ, and watched the team-match. I would like to personally say that I liked Val's and Sandra's dancing very much, and I and see a bright future with the two of them. I predict that they will do great in Ohio. As for everyone who does not know, Diana is dancing with Leonid (Sandra's ex-partner). I look forward to seeing all these new couples, as well as old ones compete.

Leonid and Diana did not dance any competitions yet, Mr. Samba Duke. Keep duking your Samba.
You probably mix them up with Eric and Tatyana who were doing the college competition recently. They are also a new couple.
however, congratulations to Valik & Sandra. Don't worry, noone is talking bad things about you guys.

Thank you, Duke Samba, for having the foresight to post the Under 21 Results here, rather than in the main thread about Ohio results. Intentionally or not, you did us all a favor by keeping the inevitable juvenile and rude comments about these events out of the main thread. It never fails that, after each major event, the youngsters and their so-called "friends" behave in such an outrageously offensive manner as to destroy whatever good feelings I have for them, and I'm usually a great fan of their dancing. If the gift of dance comes at the expense of character and plain good manners, I say we are all the losers for the conduct of this bunch of rude children. Obviously, I don't wish to sign my name. Who wants to become the target of such childish attacks?
Just to be clear, someone said to me "I think that's Diana with her new partner." I only saw them briefly. I thought I just didn't recognize her without so much makeup. And I have never seen Leonid before, so I don't know what he looks like. Oops.
