I am thrilled, though a little surprised, that Benji won last night. Way to go ballroom! With three ballroom people in the top 10, and thus going on tour, it looks like ballroom stands to gain youth who are interested in doing what they saw Benji and Heidi do.
As I said, I think that Benji deserves to win but I was surprised because Mia and Brian were pushing Travis (who I also think is brilliant) as the winner. When it came down to the 2 guys I didn't mind who won.
With Benji receiving a cash award, and Heidi, Benji, and Dimitri going on tour, will this make them pro, or will they receive a special dispensation for promoting ballroom? I would hopw that they can choose whether to compete as amateurs or professionals. Others may differ with me on that.
