I recently read that a bunch of new Pro/Am National titles have been created and will be granted at next year's Emerald Ball, in Hustle, Salsa, West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, and Argentine Tango. This is good for people who are interested in these dances, but I'm sure the purists will maintain that these are club/social dances and shouldn't be a part of ballroom competition in the first place. Whatever....

For people who are interested in salsa and live in and around Boston, I would highly recommend taking a group class before you spend the big bucks on privates. In salsa alone we have group classes at various spaces EVERY day of the week! Salsa socials occur every wed, thurs, fri, sat and sun at different locations. Just do a search for boston salsa or pm me.
