My, isn't Jools a little touchy... I didn't see anything in Chris' post denigrating Pro/Am.

I don't know if this is true throughout the United States, and would like to here more, but in the large metropolitan area where I live, the fee structure for ProAm competitions is out of sight and is chasing ordinary salary-making mortals to the poor house.
I'd recommend shopping around a bit. I've heard about some pros in the NYC area who are interested in breaking into the pro-am business, from whom you might be able to get more favorable rates.

VT, Joe? You hate QQS? An otherwise fine state of VT is a Gulag for dancers. You have to cross an international border or go to Nashua, NH.

You know--aren't Vermont's marriage laws a little more, um, flexible than the other states'? If Chris is going to come back as a woman...
