I posted this question under 'General Discussions' since so many ProAms are looking for amateur partners I'm interested in your thoughts: Partner tryouts can be very awkward. I haven't done many but it always felt a little like a first date where everyone's nicey-nice and you wait for the person who placed the ad to call and let you know what the verdict is. What's your experience (Best and Worst) and what kinds of questions do you ask a potential partner?
