Hey whats up I'm trying to choose a song that my friends are to present to my dance class, an I dont know what song I should pick. The dance is about rhythm, sensuality, african combination. My friend suggested, Smokey Robinson's Crusin from the cd The Definitive Collection. Or can someone recommend to me what type of song I should pick.

Thank You

Erika.

I'm not quite sure what you want but I know some african songs
Check out the Kronos quartet pieces of Africa it has some cool songs that could give you rythm and sensuality and the african style

If you're dancing LeRoc / Ceroc anything in 4/4 time will do.
For beginers, try something slow with a strong beat such as Wade in the Water by Eva Cassidy. If you want to up the tempo, try Livingstone Saturday Night by Jimmy Buffet. Other good tracks are things such as Moondance, Straighten up and fly right etc.
As long as you can count 4 to it, it will do.
